The mission of “1,000 Books Before Kindergarten” is to strengthen children’s vocabulary and language skills while promoting the habit of reading. Increased vocabulary and language skills are important tools for children to have as they begin to learn to read in kindergarten. To achieve the goal of reading 1,000 books, aim to read one book every night (or as many as you can) and receive reading rewards throughout the program. You’ll reach the goal before you know it!
Start reading now and you’ll reach the goal of 1,000 books before you know it!
