Collage Art

Grades 1-3
Many illustrators, including Lois Ehlert, use Collage Art to create interesting pages in their picture books. In this Artful Pages Project, we will examine a few of these artists’ books, then tear apart magazines and books to create our own Collage Art.
Tiny Hands Workshop

This hands-on workshop is designed to support early childhood development! Kids will explore stations set up around the room, perfect for practicing fine motor skills. These activities lay the foundation for pre-literacy abilities and school readiness. This program is in association with P.A.C.E., Inc. Child Care Works.

Osamequin Farm Youth Art Exhibition – Painters Wanted!

Let’s paint! Paying tribute to Andrew Newell Wyeth, an American artist known for his beautiful and realistic scenes, you will create your own painting inspired by his work, featuring farms, oceans, and peaceful landscapes. When you finish, please leave one of your artwork pieces with us to be displayed at the Osamequin Farm Youth Art Exhibition. The exhibit will take place on Sunday, April 19, at Osamequin Farm.
Beyblade and Lego Builders Club

Let it rip at Beyblade and Builders Club!
Kids in grades 1–5 are invited to battle by launching their Beyblades into a stadium to see who comes out on top. Channel your inner engineer or architect to build a Lego creation, on your own or with a friend. We supply the Legos, you supply the imagination! Join us for free play and friendly competition! Bring your own Beyblades and stadiums or use the library’s limited supply. Come battle, build, and meet some new friends! Drop in.
