Greetings from the Director, Sharon St. Hilaire

FY06 BUDGET WOULD COST LESS THAN A DOLLAR PER WEEK PER RESIDENT!!!

Yes, you are reading that right. 

The FY06 budget proposed by the Board of Library Trustees would 
cost each resident less than a dollar per week. This budget would
meet the minimum state funding requirements.  It is now in the 
hands of the Board of Selectmen and the acting Town Administrator
to recommend a budget to the Finance Committee on March 22.  If they
do not support the Trustee's request, we all will need to plan to
take the budget to the floor of Town Meeting.

Town meeting is May 23.

CHESS CLUB is scheduled on every Thursday from 4pm to 5pm

STAMP COLLECTING CLUB is on Saturday, March 5th, 12th & 26th 
from 1:30pm to 3:30pm 

KIDS ONLY READING CLUB is on Wednesday, March 23rd at 3:45pm 

PARENT-CHILD BOOK CLUB will be meeting Monday night, March 28th
at 6:30pm 

LIBRARY LAPSIT is Monday, March 28th at 10:30am
and is at capacity for this session
