Greetings from the Director, Sharon St. Hilaire:

            TOWN MEETING MAY 23rd, 7pm  

The Finance Committee and the Board of Selectmen voted to give 
the library the money needed for certification. 

We should all thank them for their support. 

Still, we need everyone to attend Town Meeting
because the Library's budget must still be approved by a 
majority at that meeting.

The next FOL meeting will be Monday, May 9th at 7pm. The Friends meet
in the John Sullivan Room. All are welcome!!!

Sunday, May 15th, 5 pm. Leonards, 600 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk 

Beds, Books, Birds and Spring sponsored by the Seekonk Library Trust
and Leonards is a FREE social event for Library supporters.

It will feature a reading by Ann Hood from her book, 
An Ornithologist's View of Life.

MAY 2005	 Program Highlights

CHESS CLUB for children in Kindergarten through Middle School 
is scheduled on Thursday afternoons starting at 4 pm.


STAMP CLUB for children in Grades 1 through 5 will be meeting
Saturday, May 14th, from 2 pm to 3 pm.


LIBRARY LAPSIT is Monday, May 23rd, at 10:30 am
Due to pre-registration program is full for this session
 
KIDS ONLY READING CLUB for children in Kindergarten through Grade 3
Wednesday, May 25th, at 3:45pm

PARENT-CHILD BOOK CLUB will be meeting Monday Night,
May 16th, at 6:30pm  Meeting will be held in the Multipurpose Room.
