_________________________________________________________________ Seekonk Public Library News 4.09 September 2005 A monthly newsletter about the Seekonk Public Library http://www.seekonkpl.org news@seekonkpl.org _________________________________________________________________ Greetings from the Director, Sharon E. St. Hilaire: Summer has ended and the library's hours have been restored. The library hours are Mon - Thurs 10 - 8, Friday 10 - 5 and Saturday 10 - 4. Programming has also been restored and the September programs are listed below. A sincere thank you to all who helped restore library services to meet the minimum standards!!! ****************************************************************** Tired of having to juggle all the tapes and cd"s for unabridged audiobooks? Check out downloading audiobooks right from the iBistro catalog. You can put them on a CD or right into your mp3 player. Ask the library staff about this exciting service. Now you don't even need to leave home! ****************************************************************** Our Newest Online Database Xreferplus is now part of our library's online reference collection available both in the library and through our website. It features full-text content from a hundred reference books covering a broad range of subjects. It's a search engine like Google, but instead of searching the entire Internet, your results come from a comprehensive library of trusted reference sources without advertisements, clutter, or irrelevant hits. ________________________________________________________________ FRIENDS OF THE SEEKONK LIBRARY September 12, 7pm Open meeting to plan future activities.
