First, on November 20th we are having a Book Signing, Stories and Songs with Bill Harley. Join singer, storyteller & author Bill Harley for a benefit for the Seekonk Library Trust. When? Call for your reservation today! 508-336-8230 A $25.00 donation per family comes with a personally autographed copy of "Dear Santa" Bill's hilarious new book. The goal of the Seekonk Library Trust is to develop the financial resources needed to expand current Library services, permit the introduction of new services,and to make the capital investments in the building and equipment needed. In the past year, the Trust has provided the funding for the restoration of the gardens. They have also secured grants for the development of our Teen program. Gifts to the Trust can be used to support the library endowment, building expansion and renovation or the proposed library park. *************************************************************** TOWN MEETING - Tuesday November 29th, 7pm High School Auditorium Mark your calendars and come support the Library's request to purchase a new phone system. The current phone is 13+ years old and does not work properly. *************************************************************** Wednesday November 30 6:30 - 8 Surviving the Holidays without Blowing Your Budget. Teri McFarland, a financial consultant, will talk about how to spend wisely during the holiday season to avoid getting into debt. She will also discuss strategies on how to prepare for next year since it’s never too early to plan ahead! Registration starts Tuesday, November 1st KIDS ONLY READING CLUB is on Wednesday November 30th at 3:45pm PARENT-CHILD BOOK CLUB will be meeting Monday night, November 21st at 6:30pm STAMP COLLECTING CLUB (Grades 1-5)will be held on Saturday, November 5th & 19th at 2:00pm with meetings every other week.
