The laptops are here!!!! After the Town turned back the $3 million grant to renovate and expand the library, the Board of Library Trustees instructed me to find a way make this 30 year old building work. Inorder to provide more floor space for additional shelving, (arriving soon), we dismantled the space hogging PC work areas and have replaced the PC's with laptop computers. The library's wireless network has made every seat in the library is a computer station. You must have your library card with you to check out a computer at the Adult Services desk for in library use only. Each computer is loaded with all types of security software and they can be traced and located if taken from the building. The wireless network and laptops were purchased through a grant from the Bristol County Commissioners.
