Board of Library Trustees

The Board of Library Trustees is an elected body that has responsibility under Seekonk Town Charter and Massachusetts General Laws to administer the Seekonk Public Library. Current members of the Board are:

Meetings

The Board of Library Trustees usually meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Sullivan Room at the library.  Meeting announcements and agendas are posted at the Town Clerk’s Office and  here on-line. If you wish to be included on the meeting agenda, please contact Peter Fuller, the Library Director.

The approved minutes of all meetings of the Board of Library Trustee are available at the library. Please contact, Maureen Mecketsy to obtain copies of the minutes. Please note that there is a copy charge fee of ten cents per page.

Board of Trustees Award

The Seekonk Board of Library Trustees Award was established in 1979 at the recommendation of Trustee Helen Keough. The award was established to honor a graduating Seekonk High School senior who shown a commitment to academic excellence, has demonstrated perseverance in achieving goals set for themselves, and who has participated in a positive manner in school and extracurricular activities. Applications are available at the Guidance Department Office.
